Bowflex TreadClimber TC5 Review – Is It worth it?
This review is about the Bowflex TreadClimber TC5 and I will keep this short and straight to the point. If you saw the commercials or if you visited either treadclimber.ca or WalkTC.ca you should know by now that the TC5 is the model that doesn’t have a motor. That being said I personally would not waste money buying this manual treadmill. Reason I say this is because for one the TC5 is one of the heaviest manual treadmills on the market also it will take some time to assemble and lastly you will also have to manually take care of it.
The one thing that I find annoying with all Bowflex products is the assembly and what I don’t like about the Bowflex TreadClimber TC5 is their LCD console which is very unimpressive considering that you just paid $999 for a manual treadmill. In my personal opinion the only treadclimber that is worth the money is the Bowflex® TreadClimber® TC20 If you’re looking for a manual treadmill a good one to consider is the Exerpeutic 260 Manual Treadmill with Safety Handles and Pulse Sensors which can be found at Wal marts for less than $200.
This treadmills are less than 50 pounds and most importantly they’re light. The Bowflex TreadClimber TC5 weighs 163 lbs (74 kg) costs almost $1000 and it has a Maximum Capacity of 300 lbs (136 kg) The Exerpeutic 260 Manual Treadmill with Safety Handles and Pulse Sensors treadmill weighs 30 lbs has a 1 Year warranty and can hold people up 260 lbs and the price for this is only $200.
The choice is yours just don’t forget that the Bowflex TreadClimber TC5 is a manual treadmill it has no motor and you will be responsible for the assembly which if you check out their YouTube page is not that esay!
