Is scamadviser.com a scam?

What a weird question to ask is scamadviser.com a scam or a hoax? Or is scamadviser.com fake, safe or legit? Truth be told scamadviser.com should be used with a degree of caution. It’s review process is not trustworthy and if you ever decide to read their disclaimer you’ll clearly see by their own admission that their observations aren’t accurate. The problem most honest webmasters have with scam adviser however is that Google seems to be rewarding them with every high placement in it’s search engines which does anger webmasters that run legitimate websites.

There are thousands of good legitimate websites that scamadviser.com gives a “Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use.” score to that are in fact 100% legitimate. On the flip side there are also thousands of sites that scamadviser gives a “High Trust Rating. This Site Looks Safe To use.” that are and have proven to be 100% fraudulent.

When you often hear about webmasters who get upset with Google it’s usually because of sites like scamadviser.com who get high rankings for providing the internet with data that may or may not be factual. You’re free to take advise from scamadviser.com if you want to us but honest webmaster and smart consumer don’t take what scamadviser.com offers to seriously as their results as stated in their disclaimer and I quote:
