18002211212 Automated telemarketing scam?

weird thing happen I got 3 calls one after the other from 1-800-221-1212 looked it up and apparently this is Delta airlines? I didn’t order anything with these people why are they contacting me? I’m not sure if this is some kind of hack or what’s the deal with these telemarketing scams whatever it sounds like a scam to me I’m just wondering if this is a whole new type of scam that to date I have never heard of.
