Is Erasethatdebt.com legit or is it a scam?

It should be noted that Erasethatdebt.com as several pages on their website the one I am referring to in this post is the one currently located @ http://www.erasethatdebt.com/CA/V2/1a.asp?Network=63&source=&creative=300×250&lp=4 that first asks for your postal code then asks for your telephone number. Before giving these people your personal information I recommend reading the bottom of that website. The section currently reads as of November 14 2012 “All personal information and email addresses are kept confidential. By submitting your expression of interest you are consenting to receive telephone calls from our participating partners even if you have been previously listed on a state or federal Do-Not-Call List.”

If you read that what you should know is that you’re opening up yourself to both spam and telemarketers. I personally recommend avoiding Erasethatdebt.com and their offers. If you’re looking for debt relief  I recommend contacting a debt relief company directly or doing a Google search for debt relief in your local area. I personally wouldn’t call Erasethatdebt.com legit or scam what I will say is I would avoid that Erasethatdebt.com offer in particular.
