1-707-339-4085 Text Message Spam
If you received a spam text email message that stated the following:
Hi, you will probably quit your job after watching this goo.gl/Sr6xxxx
1 (707) 339 4085 and all of it’s many variations 17073394085, 707-339-4085, they’re all the same scam and if you’re getting this spam during the holiday season be aware that scammers like this will be sending messages all December long most likely.
Yes it’s a scam, this fraud is being sent all over north america, they’re doing it just in time for christmas to steal peoples identity. If I were you I won’t sign up for whatever they’re selling. There is the very real possibility that these are foreign hackers out to steal and sell your personal information, the timing of these text message spam hoaxes are very purposeful, they’re doing this in the holiday season where frauds like this tend to escalate. Scams like this also come in various forms meaning the fraudulent way they claim you can make money maybe different from what I receive.
Whenever you get any type of scam it’s best that you delete the message, they probably used some form of automated hacking software to get your phone number, often they have a list of possibly phone numbers and it’s your reply or your acknowledgement that allows these hackers to know that the phone number they dialed is active. So in the future just delete it and don’t fall for their pie in the sky B.S
