Craigslist house scam response email – If it seems too good to be true, it probably is
When you see an offer that’s a little too inexpensive to be the real deal, chances are you’re right. Especially on Craigslist. One of the reasons I don’t want the government to censor the internet is because of scams like these. If you found you’re reading this message always remember that it’s our jobs as citizens to look out for each other and spread the word whenever there are scams floating around. After responding a scammers craigslist advertisement they’ll usually send you this message:

your interest and inquiries about my house. It is still available for rent and we are looking for a responsible person/family to occupy and maintain the house now that we are not around. My husband and I just moved to Los Angeles, CA for a program called SERVING IN MISSION (SIM), you can view the link for more info: (hxxp://www.sim.org/index.php/content/our-purpose).AMENITIES: Air Conditioning, Cable TV, Ceiling Fans, 24 hours Internet service, Dishwasher, Fireplace, Garbage Disposal, Microwave, security alarm, Pets Friendly, Refrigerator, Washer / Dryer,water, hydro, heat and cable.
